NUON - Placement substation milestone for wind farm Dan Tysk
 
The substation for the new wind farm at sea; DanTysk is placed successfuly.
The 36 by 42 meter substation was built in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The substation collects the electricity produced by the 80 wind turbines when the wind farm is completed, expectation end 2014.
The placement of the substation went smoothly. The weather conditions were favorable. There was, remarkably, no wind in the wind farm, which facilitates the placement of the 3200 ton substation considerably.
Then the welders were working 12 hours to fixe the substation to the foundation
