GÖRLITZ integrates residential meter E350 from Landis+Gyr in Powerline network

The Koblenz-based company provides as of now the COMfor.adapt.E350, a module to embed the residential meter E350 from Landis+Gyr in the NES system from Echelon. The range of integrable meters in GÖRLITZ systems is thus expanded and real interoperability has been created.

With the new feature to integrate a further meter beside the Echelon meter, the  OMfor.adapt.E350 already attracted broad interest on the E-world energy & water 2013 in Essen, Germany. For the first time, the basis for real interoperability on an Echelon platform has been implemented. Its PLC technology has given evidence in many major projects with more than 3.5 million residential meters installed.
The user will appreciate the comfortable handling of this extension. Installation in the field is very easy and operation is completely compatible to the NES. In particular users of existent installations benefit from the option to extend the Echelon infrastructure but remain independent from individual hardware suppliers. The COMfor.adapt.E350 is of course optimally integrated in the IDSpecto.AMM Smart Metering System from GÖRLITZ.

The adapter is available for both the single phase and polyphase version, and offers a comprehensive range of services:
  • Support of Automated Topology Management (ATM)
  • Wired or wireless M-Bus for up to 4 devices
  • Creation of load profile data for billing, visualisation and analysis purposes
  • Provision of new tariffs via remote configuration
  • Forwarding event and alarm messages e.g. in case of tampering attempts
Optional functionality for energy data visualisation is available in connection with IDSpecto.enVIEW.
