Skalar devices deployed to read renewable energy data

Data loggers from the Skalar family employed to forward capture data reliably and securely.

Fortech, a Belgian wind power operator, installed wind turbines in Kruibeke and Melsele, both located in the Belgian province of East Flanders, between the years 2005 and 2009. An additional four turbines are scheduled to be installed in 2012. The wind turbines are connected to the Eandis grid and data loggers from the GÖRLITZ device family Skalar are successfully deployed to transfer the captured data via Ethernet. This ensures that high-quality data is available for further processing in the system landscape at Wase Wind cvba, the energy supplier responsible for distributing the generated renewable electricity to the Waasland region.
