GÖRLITZ and SMARVIS: Integrated Smart Metering - Efficiency for the Future

GÖRLITZ AG in Koblenz and SMARVIS GmbH in Mühlhausen consider the Integrated Smart Metering as the solution for efficient energy data reading in the future. Both companies invite you to receive detailed information on this subject. The leading trade fair E-world on 7-9 February, 2012 is a perfect opportunity to exchange views and ideas.

The companies focus on cost-effective remote reading of consumption values for electricity, gas, water and heat:  SMARVIS GmbH is a member of the QUNDIS Group and provides a standardised remote reading system for water and heat (submetering) which has been installed in over 1 million apartments in Germany and Europe. The GÖRLITZ AG is known for long-standing and extensive knowledge in remote reading (metering and communication). All over Europe, the hardware and software form the Koblenz based company is deployed in the industrial and energy sector.

The Amendment of the Energy Industry Act 2011 (EnWG) stipulates the introduction of intelligent metering systems. The legislation allows the existing infrastructure primarily used for electricity or gas to be extended with ease to services such as heat and water, thus, enabling automated reading and processing of meter values. Consequently, Integrated Smart Metering increases efficiency of the complete solution since costs for communication will be shared by all players in the sector.
