Ferranti- MECOMS; Smart Utility optimisation model
Ferranti has recently launched the Smart Utility Optimization Model™ (SUOM). This assessment tool is built to evaluate a utility’s capabilities according to the Microsoft Maturity Model. It evaluates the as-is as well as the desired to-be situation and scores a utility’s capabilities as Basic, Standardized, Reactive or Dynamic. The tool can assist to assess how the MECOMS™ solution meets a utility’s current and future business needs. SUOM is web-based and runs on Microsoft Azure, which makes it not only very easy to use, but also word-wide accessible.
