Eltel Power Transmission signs a EUR 40 million contract in Poland

Eltel Networks Rzeszów SA has signed a substation contract with PSE in Poland. The EUR 40 million project is a modernization of Kopanina substation including the replacement of OPGW.
 
Eltel Networks will execute the modernization of 220/110 kV Kopanina substation and the replacement of OPGW at 220 kV power lines. The lines are located between Kopanina and Wielopole and Kopanina and Katowice. The assembly of OPGW at 110 kV is related to the Laziska – Kopanina power line.
The objective of the project is to improve reliability of leading out the power from the Laziska power station.
 
The contract was won in an open and competitive bidding organized by PSE Operator SA. PSE is executing a major investment program in Poland. Prior to this order Eltel Networks has won a few similar projects at a total value of EUR 110 million in the past months.

With previous PSE orders already received we continue our success in Poland. This project means a strengthening of our position in the substation field.”
