Enel is among the global electricity companies with the best social responsibility policies

Enel has received the Sustainability Distinction, a recognition conferred based upon RobecoSAM’s analysis of corporate sustainability policies for the Sustainability Yearbook, which was today presented at Davos during the World Economic Forum (WEF).

Now in its 10th edition, the Sustainability Yearbook is one of the most thorough and detailed international publications on corporate social responsibility as applied across a variety of economic sectors.

Since 2004, each edition of the Sustainability Yearbook reports, for each sector, the most sustainable companies in the world based on the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) performed by RobecoSAM, a company specialising in sustainable investments. It is also crucial for inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes.

In this edition, Enel, as compared with its global competitors, received one of the highest scores in the “Electricity” category, earning itself the Sustainability Distinction.

RobecoSAM is a global leader in products and services that systematically combine non-financial (ESG) criteria with traditional financial analysis and investment processes.
